Our mission is:

To empower and uplift Sri Lankan women residing in Canada, fostering their happiness, health, and prosperity as they pursue their passions. Guided by the belief that supporting women in their endeavors leads to a positive ripple effect, the association encourages women to embrace their journeys and, in turn, extend a helping hand to those who come after them.

The Canada Sri Lanka Women's Association (CSLWA) is a non-profit organization designed to provide educational, recreational and social opportunities for women of Sri Lankan descent.

"We are convinced that, even though our primary role is to manage a non-profit organization, it is our duty as private individuals to contribute positively to society and ensure our voices are heard."

"Always remember, a small, dedicated group of individuals has the power to make a significant impact on the world.  In fact, it's the only force that has ever brought about meaningful change."

Started in 2009

The vision of CSLWA is to foster a cohesive and thriving Sri Lankan community in the province of Ontario

"Engaging in community organizations provides a unique satisfaction that you won't experience elsewhere.  Contributing to the community allows for a fulfillment that goes beyond any other endeavor."
